Accused Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann will face one single trial for all seven of his cases.

Heuermann’s defense team had petitioned for seven separate trials - one for each victim. However, a judge ruled in favor of the prosecutors.

The judge also determined for a second time that nuclear DNA evidence will be admissible at trial. The defense had tried to appeal the ruling that was made earlier this month.

Heumann is due back in court in January.
