- Be as flexible as possible during Thanksgiving – adding on a day to your trip could mean a lower fare.
- Try international flights versus domestic ones as international destinations might offer more bargains.
- Be sure to purchase travel insurance.
- Make sure you’re at the airport at least 2-3 hours before your domestic flight – 3-4 hours if you’re flying internationally.
