Some sobering new statistics have been released on driving high.

According to AAA, nearly 15 million people drove within an hour after smoking pot. They say the research was done in the past 30 days. 

Many drivers told researchers that they don't think driving high is as dangerous as driving drunk.

Nearly 70 percent said they think it's unlikely the drivers will get caught.

AAA says statistics show drivers impaired by pot are twice as likely to crash than sober drivers.
