Flames tore through an 88-year-old man's New Cassel house Monday.
Nolan Grant came home to find a burned out shell in the place where he's lived for 53 years.
"I have some very expensive clothes, and that's what bothered me more than anything," Grant says.
The Westbury Fire Department says it took more than two hours and the help of 10 fire departments to get the blaze under control.
The fire chief says this fire was particularly hard to battle because of a large amount of clutter throughout the two-story home.
Grant says firefighters told him an electrical issue sparked the flames. Authorities say the fire does not appear suspicious, but an investigation is underway.
Two firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion.
