A crash killed a 76-year-old driver Monday morning in Woodmere.

Detectives say the man was traveling westbound on West Broadway when a 17-year-old driving eastbound struck his vehicle around 9:30 a.m.

The teen then crashed into another car, which was also heading westbound at the time.

The 76-year-old victim was rushed to a hospital and pronounced dead.

Police say the 17-year-old and his 16-year-old passenger sustained minor injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

Authorities say everyone involved in the incident remained at the scene.
