A 70-year-old Suffolk man has been arrested and charged with public lewdness in a park.

Officers were called to Harborfront Park in Port Jefferson Thursday morning.

According to police, someone there reported a man committing a lewd act in front of park-goers.

Police arrested Frank Cappuccio, of Port Jefferson.

Cappuccio was issued a desk appearance ticket and is due in court June 24.
