Several Stony Brook University students were injured Friday night in a crash on Nicolls Road in Centereach.
Police say the driver of an SUV lost control near Hammond Road. The vehicle hit the median and rolled over.
Police say all five occupants of the vehicle attend the university, which is not far from the crash scene. They are all expected to survive, although the extent of their injuries remains unclear.
The students' identities weren't released.
