Four housed were damaged after fire broke out in Bridgehampton Friday evening.

Police say the fire broke out at a house on Fair Hill Lane just before 10:30 p.m. and spread from home to home.

Police say one house is destroyed, two others were severely damaged and the fourth suffered minor damage. It took 16 departments to knock the fire down.

Firefighters were still on the scene Saturday canvassing the neighborhood to make sure there are no flare ups.
