News 12 Long Island has learned that four homes were struck by lightning during the wild storms last night. 
One of the homes was on Sportsman Avenue in Freeport where a bolt of lightning sparked a fire in the attic. No injuries were reported. 
In Greenlawn, a home on Rosemont Court was struck by lightning which sparked a fire started in the attic. 
Officials say a home on 116th Road just south of Dutch Broadway in Elmont was also was struck by lightning. 
Lastly, a bolt of lightning sparked a house fire on Prime Avenue in Huntington. 
No injuries were reported in either case.
