38th Games for Physically Challenged kicks off in Uniondale

Over 1,100 athletes will be competing in everything from track and field to swimming, archery and wheelchair basketball.

The 38th annual Games for the Physically Challenged kicked off Friday in Uniondale.
Over 1,100 athletes from across the tri-state area will be going for the gold through Saturday at Mitchel Field and Nassau Community College.
They will be competing in everything from track and field to swimming, archery and wheelchair basketball.
