The Ligouri family of South Setauket takes the term "deck the halls" very seriously.
Their Christmas lights display is made up of 35,000 lights that are perfectly in sync with the songs of the season.
For years, the family has been dazzling the community with their lights. In 2012, the display took on a new meaning when Kevin Ligouri's father was diagnosed with brain cancer.
His prognosis has since improved after undergoing four separate surgeries. Now, the lights are part of a fundraising effort that goes toward a pair of charities that help brain cancer patients.
