A 3-year-old boy was hurt after running into the side of a moving car Saturday night in Brentwood, according to police.

Authorities say it happened around 5 p.m. on Douglass Street between Winfield and Orient avenues.

The child was rushed to a hospital for evaluation. His condition is unclear.
