3 people displaced by Mineola house fire

A house fire left three residents displaced early Monday morning in Mineola, according to officials.

Authorities say 50 firefighters responded to the scene on Croyden Road around 8:45 a.m.

They extinguished the flames inside the two-story residence within 20 minutes. No injuries were reported.

The Village of Mineola Building Department also responded to the scene to assess the damage. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

This incident is among at least nine fires reported in Nassau County since Saturday morning.
