A fire inside a shed in Bellmore melted the sides of two nearby homes after flames broke out on Fisher Lane Sunday night.
Officials said they received the call around 8 p.m. and arrived to find the shed on fire.
About 50 firefighters brought the flames under control in roughly 20 minutes.
No injuries were reported, and fire officials are investigating the cause.
