Long Island health care systems are getting some national recognition.

For the fifth year in a row, U.S. News and World Report ranked Northwell Health as the most awarded health system in the tri-state area.

Seven of its hospitals ranked among the best in the state.

The same report honors Mount Sinai South Nassau with 10 "high performing" designations for its procedures and services.

Four of NYU Langone’s clinical specialties were also named best in the nation. NYU Langone has the most No. 1 ranked specialties of any health care system nationwide.
