Three of the seven fatalities in the weekend crane accident in Manhattan were construction workers from Long Island, authorities determined Monday after recovering all the victims.

The community of East Northport is mourning Clifford Canzona. Friends and family say they are shocked by the suddenness of his death. ?We had been hoping until this afternoon that he would make it, but unfortunately, there is no hope now,? Canzona?s childhood friend Sarah Machansky said.

The family of 54-year-old Brad Cohen, of Farmingdale, also learned Monday their loved one did not survive the accident.

Santino Gallone, of Bellmore, also died. ?He was just a tremendous person," a spokesperson for the family said. ?He was a great athlete. He was a wonderful husband and wonderful father.?

The investigation into the collapse is ongoing.
