Three men are charged with reckless endangerment after a tobacco treatment operation caused an explosion at a home in Hicksville.

Police say Dinesh Arora and two other men were running the tobacco treating operation in the basement of Arora's Miller Road home.

According to police, the explosion happened when Davinder Singh, of New York, and Surender Bhatty, of Illinois, were both helping to coat the tobacco with acetone for use in a hookah.

The fire was contained to the basement.
