3 arrested in Uniondale on social host law

An apparent college party sent an 18-year-old woman to the hospital and led to the arrest of three 21-year-olds.
Police arrived at the Belmont Avenue house just blocks from Hofstra University Friday night and broke up a party where alcohol was served. Police arrested Daniel Norken, Joshua Winer and Mira Menyuk, who live at the home, under the Nassau County social host law.
The three were given appearance tickets for a later court date.
Police say a semi-conscious 18-year-old woman was taken to Nassau University Medical Center for apparent intoxication.
A Hofstra University spokesperson says the university will review the charges and any individual involvement of students to see if university disciplinary action will be taken.
