The second annual Ride For Toys For Tots kicked off Saturday morning as racers revved up their engines to get early Christmas presents ready for local children.
Drivers and volunteers from the Firerider's Motorcycle Club set off for Deer Park to start preparing boxes of toys that will be donated to children and their families.
The crew of Santa's helpers also visited Miller's Ale House in Levittown to prepare more donation boxes to be handed over to U.S. Marines.
"We're not getting anything out of the event other than putting in our time and volunteering for the kids and everything will go to U.S. Marines and they'll donate it," said Jim Finnell, president of the New York City Firerider's Motorcycle Club.
The event's participants paid $10 and made a wrapped Toys for Tots donation.
