Players of all ages headed to the Field of Dreams in Massapequa Thursday morning for the start of a 24-hour lacrosse game.
The game is part of the annual Shootout for Soldiers event, which benefits American veterans.
The 24-hour shootout lasts until 9 a.m. Friday.
