A young man has died after he was hit by a car in Farmingville.
It happened just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday on Horseblock Road near Waverly Avenue.

Suffolk police say 22-year-old Daniel Fehringer was walking in the road when he was hit and killed.
The driver is not facing charges.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call them at 631-854-8652.
