A 31-year-old man is in critical condition after he was found unconscious and unresponsive Thursday night in Bed-Stuy, according to police.
Investigators say the victim was found with a serious head injury in front of 158 Tompkins Ave. at around 10 p.m.
Police sources tell News 12 a brick was used to carry out the attack. The victim was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Sources close to the investigation say police are searching for a man in a black jacket with white lettering and gray pants. They say the suspect took off running down Hart Street.
