For the second straight year, Lawrence High School’s football field has been deemed unplayable, leaving the school’s football team without a home field.
Parents in the Lawrence school district say the team has been forced to play its home games off school grounds because of the field’s condition.
Parents are expected to voice their concerns Tuesday night during a school district meeting. They say they have been frustrated by a lack of answers from district leaders about when the field will reopen and what is being done to address the problem.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
