An overnight shooting in Bridgeport left one person injured after police received reports of dozens of gunshots.
Officers responded to the area of Boston Avenue and Asylum Street just after 12:40 a.m.
Police said a ShotSpotter alert detected 52 shots fired in the area.
Authorities later learned that a 17-year-old victim had arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound. The teen has been hit while walking on Helen Street and was able to walk to the hospital.
Police said the injury was not considered life-threatening.
No arrests have been announced.
The investigation remains ongoing.
