A popular Monmouth County ice cream shop is closed Friday after storms caused flooding inside the business.

Video from inside Ice Cream Monster in Matawan shows water flowing from the ceiling, down walls and across the floor.

While the exterior of the shop appeared largely undamaged, the inside was impacted by flooding.

A sign posted on the front door informed customers that the Matawan location is closed and directed them to the shop's Keyport location.

Ice Cream Monster could be back open as soon as Sunday.
