Employee killed, coworker wounded in Brownsville restaurant shooting

A man was killed and another was wounded in a shooting early Sunday morning in a Brownsville restaurant, according to the NYPD.
Employees of the restaurant told News 12 that both victims worked there.
Police responded to a 911 call reporting an assault in progress at about 12 a.m. inside American Best Wings & Pizza, located at 842 Rockaway Ave.
When officers arrived, they found a 44-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head and a 39-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the right leg.
Both victims were transported by EMS to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale Hospital Medical Center.
The 44-year-old victim was later pronounced dead, and the 39-year-old victim was listed in stable condition.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
