A firefighter received treatment by EMS after the FDNY says a fire ripped through a bakery on Seabury Ave. Monday night.
FDNY says they responded to a call about a fire at 1261 Seabury Ave. at around 10:27 p.m.
Upon arrival, thick smoke billowed into the sky and flames intensified, forcing fire officials to turn the alert into a 2nd alarm fire by 11:06 p.m.
Fire marshals say 141 crew members battled the blaze that resulted in one firefighter to receive treatment by EMS.
The fire was put out by 11:56 p.m.
Tuesday morning the damages were still visible down Newbold Ave. as shattered glass spread down the street.
FDNY says the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
