A car erupted in flames Friday night in Downtown Brooklyn.

Firefighters responded to Flatbush Avenue and DeKalb Ave minutes before 11 p.m.

It took them almost an hour and a half to contain the fire.

The cause of the fire was still unknown as of Saturday afternoon.
