A man is accused of setting fire to a Wading River restaurant.

Constantine Sackos, 59, of Holtsville, is a former employee of Pazzo Ristorante and Wood Fire Pizzeria.

Prosecutors say the man was caught on camera heading out the back door of the business during the fire in November.

The months-long investigation revealed that he went to Stop & Shop to obtain a bottle of lighter fluid consistent with what was recovered at the scene.

Sackos had been fired from his job at the pizzeria and went to the owner's home several times demanding money, both before and after the fire, according to Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney.

He was indicted on charges of arson, burglary and criminal mischief when he faced a judge on Wednesday and faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
