Queens man shocked while pressure-washing building in Brentwood

Police say 36-year-old Feng Chen, of Queens, was pressure-washing a building on Suffolk Avenue around 2:30 p.m. They say he was standing on a scissor lift when he came into contact with some power lines.

Suffolk County police say a man was seriously injured after getting shocked in Brentwood Friday afternoon while pressure-washing a building.

Police say 36-year-old Feng Chen, of Queens, was pressure-washing a building on Suffolk Avenue around 2:30 p.m. They say he was standing on a scissor lift when he came into contact with some power lines.

Chen was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for his injuries.

PSEG says nearly 50 customers were impacted, but everyone's power has been restored.

Police are asking anyone with information to call them at 631-854-8352.
