Several Uniondale residents were displaced after a car crashed into a housing complex Monday morning.
Town of Hempstead Police say it happened on Uniondale Avenue. They say the 64-year-old driver lost control of her car and crashed into the building. She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Two people inside the building were also taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Officials say that four units in the building are no longer safe to occupy.
