The owners of a Bethpage mosque have filed a federal lawsuit against the Town of Oyster Bay over expansion issues.
The group that owns Masjid Al-Baqi says they have been trying for over six years to demolish the building and build a bigger mosque.
Their suit claims that the town and members of its planning board have placed unreasonable restrictions on its attempt to expand.
News 12 is waiting to hear back from the town for comment.
