A nurse’s aide at The Bristol Living Facility in Bethpage is facing charges for allegedly stealing jewelry from several of her patients, according to police.

Authorities say 55-year-old Kumarie Nazir took multiple jewelry pieces on four different days in October.

The charges against her include grand larceny and endangering the welfare of an incompetent physically disabled person.

The facility’s Chief Operating Officer has stated that they value the safety of the patients and fully cooperated with police during the investigation.
