Man indicted for fatal shooting behind Huntington Station deli

A Georgia man has been indicted in the murder of his girlfriend in New Rochelle last month.

Robert Wooten, 29, is accused of fatally shooting Meisha Williams, 30, at her Clinton Place apartment.

Wooten was arrested in Queens later that day.

He faces numerous charges, including murder, burglary and criminal possession of a weapon.

Wooten is being held at Westchester County Jail.
