Illegal gambling machines found inside Roosevelt fish market

A man was seriously injured when a mini-bike crashed into an SUV Tuesday in Lindenhurst.

Police say it happened around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Reade Avenue and South 1st Street.

Both were taken to a hospital. The bike rider hasn’t been identified at this time.

The driver of the SUV suffered injuries that are said to be not life-threatening.
