Police say an Elmont woman has been arrested for biting another woman and an officer.

According to police, they responded to a home on Belmont Boulevard and learned Zaire Steel, 18, got into a fight with another woman inside the home and bit her.

When officers tried to arrest her, they say she became violent and combative and then bit an officer on the hand.

Police say she spit on another officer.

Steel is facing several charges.
