A 33-year-old man is facing charges for a firework incident that damaged two homes Thursday on Red Maple Drive North in Levittown.

Police say Karamajit Singh gave an 11-year-old a firework and told him to light it just before 9 a.m.

The firework malfunctioned and caused a detached shed in Singh’s yard to catch on fire.

The flames spread to both his home and the house next door, according to authorities.

Police say no one was injured. Singh faces multiple charges including arson and endangering the welfare of a child.
