A Calverton man was arrested Tuesday for selling illegal fireworks, detectives say.

They say they found Thomas Smith following community complaints.

News 12 is told he was traveling to Pennsylvania to buy fireworks and then resold them on Long Island.

Police say they are still trying to figure out who Smith sold the fireworks to.
