STORM WATCH: Thunderstorms likely Thursday morning; partly sunny Memorial Day ahead

WHAT TO KNOW:

  • Thursday morning thunderstorms could bring gusty winds, brief heavy rain, and small hail

  • Friday dries out with sunshine. Very warm temperatures continue.

  • Highs in the low to mid 70s are likely through the holiday weekend. Sunday looks like the best day.

  • There will be a slight chance for showers late Saturday and a better chance Monday afternoon.

FORECAST:

THURSDAY: Partly sunny and warm with the chance for scattered showers and storms in the morning through the early afternoon. Highs near 76. Southwest winds 5 to 15 mph. Sunset: 8:11 p.m. Showers end at night with partly cloudy skies. Lows near 60. South to west winds 5 mph.

FRIDAY: Morning clouds give way to sunshine. Nice and war, with highs near 79. Lows near 59.

SATURDAY: Partly sunny with the chance of scattered rain showers late in the day. Highs near 74. Lows near 60.

SUNDAY: Nice with sun and clouds. Highs near 75. Lows near 58.

MONDAY: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy with the chance of scattered showers. Highs near 72. Lows near 61.

TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy with the chance of showers. Highs near 72. Lows near 58.
