Polls are open across Long Island this morning for school budget votes.
A total of six school districts are looking to pierce the tax cap.
It means they are looking to spend more money than the state would allow.
The districts will need approval from a 60% super majority of voters.

The six districts are Port Washington, West Babylon, East Hampton, Springs, Amagansett and Sachem.
