News 12 Storm Watch Meteorologist Julian Seawright says sunny and cooler weather continues in the days ahead, but the nights could bring some frosty conditions.

ALERTS:

Frost advisory from 2 a.m. Friday through 8 a.m. Friday for western Suffolk County

Freeze warning is in effect from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. for the East End of Suffolk County

HEADLINES:

  • Another cold night is expected for tonight and Friday night.

  • Dry, sunny and cool continues until Sunday

  • Could see late rain showers Saturday overnight into early Sunday morning before sunrise

  • Temps rebound to mid-60s and near 70 degrees next week

FORECAST:

OVERNIGHT: Clear skies are very cold with patchy frost or freezing likely especially on the east end. Low temperatures will be in the middle to upper 30s.

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny and nice! Highs in the middle to upper 50s. Lows in the upper 30s.

SATURDAY: A mix of sun and clouds, a chance of showers late overnight into Sunday morning. Otherwise, a great day. Highs in the middle to upper 50s. Lows in the middle 40s.

SUNDAY: Milder with partly sunny skies. Highs in the middle to upper 60s. Lows in the low 50s.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny and beautiful. Highs in the low 70s. Lows in the low 50s
