Law enforcement resumed the search in Manorville Thursday in connection with the Gilgo Beach investigation.

Several police vehicles were seen Wednesday scattered across a preserve near Wading River Manor Road. A K-9 unit was also at the scene.

The Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office would not confirm that the search is related to the Gilgo Beach investigation. However, the DA's office did say Suffolk County police, New York State Police and the NYPD are all assisting the DA with an ongoing investigation.

As News 12 has reported, remains from Gilgo Beach victims Valerie Mack and Jessica Taylor were found in Manorville. The rest of their remains were found along Ocean Parkway.
