Sources: Multiple agencies search Manorville location in connection to Gilgo Beach investigation

As News 12 has reported, part of the remains from Gilgo Beach victims Valerie Mack and Jessica Taylor were found in Manorville.

Sources tell News 12 multiple agencies are searching an area in Manorville in connection to the Gilgo Beach investigation.
Several police vehicles were seen scattered across a preserve near Wading River Manor Road. A K-9 unit was also at the scene.
The Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office would not confirm that the search is related to the Gilgo Beach investigation. However, they say Suffolk County police, New York State Police and the NYPD are all assisting the DA with an ongoing investigation.
Neighbors tell News 12 that they have seen a law enforcement presence for over 24 hours. Some say they have even had investigators on their blocks, and others on their properties.
"A lot of police presence, and helicopters and dogs and state troopers," says Lousie Hall, of Manorville.
People who live nearby also say there were dozens of police at Sts. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church.
"There were like 30 of them in the church and like all day long," Hall says.
As News 12 has reported, part of the remains from Gilgo Beach victims Valerie Mack and Jessica Taylor were found in Manorville. The rest of their remains were found along Ocean Parkway.
Rex Heuermann, who is accused in the killings of other Gilgo Beach victims, has not been charged with either Mack's or Taylor's death at this time.
There is no word from officials yet on if those victims are connected to the recent search.
