Police say a Queens man attempted to steal cooking oil from an IHOP in Oceanside.

Officials says they caught 27-year-old Jahquay Rowe outside the restaurant on Long Beach Road early Wednesday.

Police say Rowe also stole cooking oil from a Woodbury business on Monday.
