Police say they have identified the man who was fatally shot on a No. 3 train on Sunday.

The man was identified as 45-year-old Richard Henderson.

Henderson was discovered with gunshot wounds to both his back and shoulder, according to officers. He died from his injuries after being transported to Kings County Hospital.

Police added they’re searching for man who was wearing all black and has dreadlocks.

The deadly shooting has prompted transit advocates to call on the MTA and elected officials to do more to make the subway safer.
