A 23-year-old Moriches man was indicted Thursday for allegedly sexually assaulting two 15-year-old girls, including one inside his postal truck, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney.

Henry Buestan Gutama faces charges of rape, sexual misconduct, and other related offenses.

Authorities said Gutama was working as an East Hampton postal employee when he allegedly drove past a 15-year-old girl walking home from school and offered her a ride to get food.

Prosecutors allege that although Gutama knew the victim, he did not take her to get food. Instead, he drove to a cul-de-sac, parked, and stopped her from being able to leave. He is accused of grabbing her wrists, forcing her into the back of the postal truck, and raping her.

The girl then walked back to school and reported the incident later that day, on May 11. Gutama was arrested on May 15 by the East Hampton Town Police Department.

Following media coverage of the arrest, prosecutors said a now-19-year-old family friend came forward, alleging that Gutama also sexually assaulted her when she was 15 after parking near her home.
