Victims in Friday's fatal Hempstead crash identified

The two men killed have been identified as 34-year-old Anthony Diomede, of Levittown, and 25-year-old James Ryder, of Farmingdale.

The victims of a fatal Hempstead crash that occurred Friday have been identified.

They are 34-year-old Anthony Diomede, of Levittown, and 25-year-old James Ryder, of Farmingdale.

Police say Diomede fled the scene of a crash and ran a red light on Fulton Avenue - slamming into three cars.

His vehicle then burst into flames.

Four other people, including two children, were also hospitalized because of the crash.
