A New Cassel man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing another man multiple times.

Police say Jose Anibal Moreno Rodriguez was arguing with a 25-year-old man Sunday on Holly Lane in New Cassel.

Rodriguez allegedly took out a knife and began stabbing the man in the stomach.

They were both taken to a hospital for treatment. News 12 is told the 25-year-old is in stable condition.

Rodriguez is facing assault and weapons charges.
