News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Sam Augeri says Christmas will see high temperatures approaching 50 degrees.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

-Not as cold this weekend but mostly cloudy as warmer weather arrives.

-Dry for Christmas with highs near 50 degrees.

-The next storm arrives with rain late Tuesday into Wednesday with unsettled weather through the end of the week. No big impacts at this time.

OVERNIGHT: Partly cloudy and cold with lows near 26 degrees. Light east southeast winds. Sunrise: 7:14

SATURDAY: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy and not as cold. Highs near 44. South wind 5 to 10 mph. Sunset: 4:29
