Sources say an arrest has been made in the fatal shooting of a man in Mastic.

They say 43-year-old James Brown Jr. was arrested in the death of Umar Elquhir, 45, on Nov. 7 on Poospatuck Lane.

As News 12 has reported, police found Umar Elquhir, 45, on the ground with gunshot wounds.

Elquhir died at the hospital.
